Reviewing historical scores from previous months or years
Reviewing scores from previous months or years can help to understand which of your members or donors may have had a higher engagement score in the past, and which constituents could be scoring higher.
Out-of-the-box, the following queries can be used to calculate historical data:
- Current scores - Return's each contact's current (all-time) score and percentile for each scoring formula.
- Scores by month - Returns a score for each month per contact and scoring formula (if the contact's score is > 0 for that month).
- Scores by year - Returns a score for each year per contact and s coring formula (if the contact's score is > 0 for that year).

Reviewing scores from previous months
To review engagement scores from previous months, do the following:
- Go to RiSE > Intelligent Query Architect > New > Query.
- (Summary tab) Name the query.
- (Sources tab) From the common sources area, expand the Scoring section, then choose Scores by month.
- (Filters tab) Add the following properties:
- [MonthlyScore] Score Month
- Value: Constant - 1
Note: The Score Month property uses numbers to represent months, for example, 1 for January, 2 for February, and so on.
- [MonthlyScore] Score Year
- Value: Constant - 2024
Note: Use the Score Year property to only return data for scores in a particular month of a specific year.
- [MonthlyScore] Score Month
- (Display tab) Select any additional display columns as needed and click Apply. By default, many properties with aliases and hyperlinks are used.
- Click Run to review the results.
- Click Save or Save As, and share the query to a shared content folder.
Reviewing scores from previous years
To review engagement scores from previous years, do the following:

- [YearlyScore] Score Year
- Value: Constant - 2024
Note: Use the Score Year property to only return data for scores for a particular year.

- Click Run to review the results.
- Click Save or Save As, and share the query to a shared content folder.
Important notes
These queries can be added as data sources to custom scoring queries and joined on a Contact Key property or used standalone to report on historical data.
Note: If adding a scoring query as an additional data source, be sure to review what business objects make up the queries and join the sources on an appropriate property.
